4. Tom Cruise Was Nearly Hit By A Double Decker Bus - Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

Tom Cruise is renowned for doing his own stunts, and his filmography is packed to the brim with amazing, breathtaking set-pieces in which he clearly features. But the star of hit movies such as Top Gun and War Of The Worlds almost met his end in a ridiculously bland way during the filming of his recent blockbuster Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. That's right: Tom Cruise was nearly squashed by a double decker bus, of all things. The incident took place whilst Tom was shooting a scene in London which required him to simply "walk down the street." As an American he presumably forgot to look the opposite way as usual when crossing the road, though, because he was almost hit by an iconic, red double decker.
