4. Dianna Agron
Glee alumn and easily one of the best actresses on the show, Dianna Agron approaches her roles with a sense of intelligence and thoughtfulness that could really be a great new spin on a modern retake of Buffy Summers. Plus she has plenty of acting kudos, having done the big blockbuster (
I Am Number Four) and the action-comedy (
The Family) with acting greats such as Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer, both in which she kicks ass in different ways. In addition, her noted physicality - you don't spend three years as a cheerleader without toning up - could be a great asset in the role of the Slayer, particularly when all that flexibility and coordination could be transferred from pom-poms to pummeling vampires. Add all of those attributes combined and you might have a proto-Buffy in the making, one who comes prepared to be a cheerleader and save the world.
