6. "We Just Did"

At the very end of the main body of the movie (prior to the mid/post-credits scenes), while the good guys are standing around Nick Fury's fake grave, Black Widow hands Captain America a file on Bucky Barnes to help him learn more about what happened to his old friend at the hands of HYDRA. Sam Wilson - now a fixture at Cap's side - knows the super soldier will head off to search for Barnes to try and help the man now known as the Winter Soldier remember who he really is. He asks Cap "when do we start?", the screen cuts to black and the credits start to roll, but it wasn't always meant to be that way. A single line was cut from the movie which saw Cap respond with "we just did", showing that he really doesn't want to waste any time when it comes to finding his former friend. This particular line of dialogue doesn't seem to have made its way online (it's not a full "scene" as such, like the other entries on this list, after all), but it has been confirmed as having been removed from the final version of the movie. Cutting it certainly left it more down to the imaginations of the audience when it came to what the duo might do next (and made an Ultron-based divergence more justifiable).
