3. Sam Rockwell
Sam Rockwell is one of those actors who can totally immerse themselves in a role to the point where you can hardly recognise them. He has been in the acting business for years and has been in some massive hits - The Green Mile is probably the biggest. However, he still hasn't 'made it' in the sense that people instantly know who he is. The last film I recall him being in was Seven Psychopaths, which he saved thanks to his hilarious performance. He is the sort of actor - like Edward Norton - who tends not to be in lead roles but gives memorable supporting ones. He pops up randomly in films so people who recognise him go 'oh! That's that guy!' A good example of this would be his role in Iron Man 2. His forgettable name thankfully hasn't caused his career to go downhill, he is still working regularly and his talent has not faded. A good Sam Rockwell film, in which he not only plays the lead role, but the only role in the entire film, is Moon. It's really worth watching so I thoroughly recommend it.
