6 Famous Movie Drinks You Must Try

6. Vodka Martini - The Bond Films

daniel craig martini A notable start to the list is the Vodka Martini. When many of you will immediately think of the dry cocktail, a majority of you will call to mind the catchphrase of the British secret service agent James Bond, €œShaken, not stirred€ to his preference of the manner his martini is prepared throughout both the novel series by Ian Fleming and the adapted film series. The phrase first appeared in the novel Diamonds Are Forever and was used for the first time in the films featuring Sean Connery beginning with Goldfinger (1964). Thereafter it has been used numerous occasions in the bond films that followed. Since the visual occurrence of the agent carrying a Vodka Martini in hand, both the phrase and drink gained popularity and recognition in western popular culture while making appearances in other films, TV and video games. The catchphrase itself has even made its appearance on €˜best movie quotes€™ lists in the past, particularly from the American Film Institute. The drink even enables the holder to even imitate the agent in a sophisticated manner.
