6 Reasons Daniel Craig Will (Probably) Do Another James Bond Movie

1. He's Allegedly Playing A Long Game

The Radar Online story has a lot of interesting, hidden info beyond the report of Sony offering Craig a big load of money, perhaps the most interesting being the suggestion that this is all part of Craig's plan. To quote the site's source, he's "played a genius hand. Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn’t an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned.”

The suggestion here is that everything over the past year - the mass uncertainty and speculation - has been part of some devious long game: what if everything he's done so far has been so brutally non-committal in the hope that he'll be able to push Eon's hand and get a lot more money? Sure, Bond may not be his favourite role, but if he can convince them to pay enough then perhaps he could be likewise convinced.

It makes an awful lot of sense when you look at this all from a ruthless, business perspective; for all his grumbles, Bond is good for Craig's profile, and perhaps he knows he'll eventually take it, but first wants Sony, MGM and Eon to sweat.

Do you think Daniel Craig will return for one more Bond? Or will he let a fresh face take over? Share your predictions down in the comments.
