6 Reasons Why The Dark Knight Rises Complaints Should Be Put To Rest

1. The Final Product Will Never Be How We Imagine It

Dark Knight Rises As with the Joker reasoning, I'm going to be very blunt and straight to the point with the final point of this article. This final reason is something we all can relate to, I think, given that there isn't one person alive who awaited the release of their most anticipated film and got exactly what they thought they were going to get. Whether they visualized the entire film in their heads or just a assumed a few things, there's no way it came out as they imagined entirely. With TDKR, I presumed a lot of things myself. For one, I assumed Batman would get his back broken by Ban, that - somehow - Ra's al Ghul would come back from the dead, and that Batman would have to sit the rest of the film out while Joseph Gordon-Levitt played Jean-Paul Valley and became Azrael, taking down Bane until Bruce Wayne healed up, after which he would then try to stop Azrael. I really wanted Jean-Paul Valley to be in the film. When I discovered he wouldn't appear, I wasn't upset. Looking at the end product, I'm glad I was wrong. But having my hopes dashed at seeing an almost direct tred of Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd really didn't pain me as much as I thought it would. Because I knew, in the end, that the final product could never have been how I imagined it would. I understand there are fans out there who felt the repercussions of not seeing their direct vision for the film emphasised in the final product, and I understand why they might upset about it, but we must all come to fathom the horrible yet honest truth: we can't judge something merely because our imaginations have been turned down. Let's hear it: what do you guys think? Do all these reasons do TDKR justice? Do you disagree or agree? Are there other reasons that you feel should have been included? I'm eager to hear to the responses. Feel free to discuss it below in the comments section below.
