6 Simple Predictions For Guardians Of The Galaxy

6. The Prospect Of Stronger Heroes & Villains Is Coming

One can't help but imagine just where the Guardians of the Galaxy will lead to when thinking about all the vast potential hidden with the Marvel Universe itself. Being set in space where a simple star could be the setting for a siege, the possibilities for latent heroes and villains appearing is strong. Marvel's encyclopedia of characters is deep, most of which have origin stories based in the universe. Marvel identities like Silver Surfer, Beyonder, Captain Marvel, Galactus, Morg, Oblivion, Black Bolt, One-Above-All, and Ego all have the green light of being given the chance to be a part of the Cinematic Universe, or the Cosmic Universe as its called. Since the Guardians themselves have an immense history, there's no shame in believing that the future holds high regards by way of introducing new entities into the fray. The main point here is understanding just how far the rabbit hole goes with the Marvel Universe. Being the first Marvel film to debut in space, it automatically opens the doors to any and every superhero or villain who is of space-faring stature. Predicting, of course, that GotG hints at bigger things during its running time, Marvel is running the gauntlet on its source material and expanding their horizons farther than anyone could imagine.
