6 Surprising Developments That Could Rock The Marvel Cinematic Universe

1. Spider Man Could Be Swinging His Way Into The Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Marvel Studios / Sony We all assumed the idea of Spider-Man, like Wolverine and his fellow X Men, fighting alongside the Hulk and Thor would be a pipe dream. As much as fans would love to see every Marvel comic character connected to each other across these films and TV shows, the rights to these big characters belong to different studios. Yet the lackluster response to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 seems to have brought Sonys thoughts of a grand Spidey-verse to a grinding halt. The Amazing Spider-Man 3 has been pushed back to 2018. A fourth film has disappeared completely. There seems to be some movement with the frankly bizarre Sinister Six movie but Venom may now be dropped altogether. Perhaps Sony realised that Spider-Man is best placed with his Avenger buddies and that maybe a slice of the Marvel pie might be better than anything they can do on their own. Preferably, it would be better to use the established Spidey-universe and blend it with Marvel's. We've had one reboot. No matter who owns the rights, general audiences won't want another. And despite some issues with his second film, Andrew Garfield is brilliant as Peter Parker / Spider Man and should continue to play the web slinger for as long as possible. Of course, so much of this is rumour and supposition. But they could mark a distinct change in direction that would help keep the Marvel cinematic universe fresh. Superheroes in Agent's Of SHIELD. Female superheroes given their due. Multiple Avengers rosters and Spider-Man where he truly belongs. Well take that large pinch of salt thank you, if even just one of these is true!
