6 Things New To Netflix This Week (Feb 1)

1. Cobain: Montage Of Heck

In 2007, director Brett Morgen was given unprecedented access to everything Cobain left behind, and he challenged himself to curate an authentic portrayal of the troubled rockstar. Cobain: Montage of Heck is a treasure trove for Nirvana fans, packed with demo recordings, photos, home videos and intimate footage of him blowing out candles on his second birthday. Animation is even used to bring to life interview clips of Kurt as a teenager, and there's even a cameo from a fresh-faced Dave Grohl to look out for. By the end, you'll feel like you grew up with him at school, and felt the pain he put into every hit record. If you've already poured over every VH1 documentary in detail, or you have a passing interest in that guy who wrote Smells Like Teen Spirit, this intimate HBO special is waiting for you on Netflix now. What will you be watching on Netflix this week? let us know in the comments.
