6 Things New To Netflix This Week (Jan 11)

5. Step Brothers

Two middle-aged men, still living at home, are forced to move out and shack up with each other. Cue the perfect dysfunctional premise for a Will Ferrell movie. John C. Reilly plays his step-brother Dale, while the evergreen Mary Steenburgen plays his Mum. Look out for a cameo from a still overweight Seth Rogen, who rocks up in the film a sporting goods manager. Step Brothers is actually one of Ferrell's better non-Anchorman films, thanks in part to the direction of Adam McKay, who also took the lead on Anchorman and Talladega Nights; despite not being as warmly remembered as the other two, Step Brothers took more at the box office than Ron Burgundy's first outing, It may not be as funny as Dumb and Dumber but it's funnier than Dumb and Dumber Too, so make sure you schedule some family time with Step Brothers, available January 15th.
