6 Things New To Netflix This Week (March 21)

5. The Anomaly

Universal
Universal
Anomaly is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy in the cinematic universe... How often does an actor get to write, produce and direct himself? Rarely, if ever, which is what makes Anomaly so intriguing. Noel Clarke is the brains behind the operation, playing a man who wakes up in a van and must live in bursts of nine minutes and forty-seven seconds. Think Edge of Tomorrow meets Source Code with a bit of Doctor Who thrown in, and you're not too far off. Even if the critics didn't exactly go wild for it, many praised the ideas behind it, while others drooled over the cast which include Vampire Diaries heart-throb Ian Somerhalder, Alexis Knapp from the Pitch Perfect series and Luke "Don't call me Chris or Liam" Hemsworth. Come to Netflix with an open mind and seek out Anomaly from March 27th.
