5. Baron Mordo Will Be A Friend
https://twitter.com/SayHelloBadGuys/status/663008824668889088 Some of the most exciting photos leaked from the films set are those that feature Cumberbatch walking side by side with Chiwetel Ejiofors robed Baron Mordo. In the pages of Stranges Marvel debut Mordo is the student of, and apprentice to, the Ancient One, who is set to be played by Tilda Swinton. Karl Mordo and Stranges paths cross when the surgeon pitches up seeking help with his mangled digits, and it looks like the Baron will be be something of a mentor to the emotionally fragile doctor. They certainly seem to be on friendly terms, assuming the cameras were rolling when the photos were taken but it seems likely that Strange would have to pal about with Mordo for a while before a character as the Ancient One, Earths Sorceror Supreme before Doctor Strange takes over, would agree to even see him let alone help him. The best guess is that Mordo will prove to be a gentle introduction to the mystical side of the universe, for both viewers and our hero, giving us some much needed exposition whilst setting up the themes and threats that we can expect to see throughout the film and beyond. Hell be there to hold Stranges hand, right up until he stabs him in the back.
