5. Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's

For many the festive season doesn't begin until the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. At Universal Studios Florida you can see a parade each evening.

Universal's parade features huge floats and balloons, just like you see in the famous New York parade. Except these are themed to some of your favourite characters from Shrek, Madagascar and Minions.

In between the floats and balloons are performers and dancers bring fun amongst the snowy streets of the park.

The parade concludes with more traditional holiday floats and culminates in Santa Claus lighting the 80-foot Christmas tree.
