4. Ryan Reynolds & Ben Hardy's Fun Performances
The easy acting highlight of the movie is Ryan Reynolds, who while hardly working with top-shelf material here, at least employs his now-expected motormouth shtick to solidly entertaining effect.
It's clearly not much of a stretch for the actor at all, but he's as charming as the film ever dares to get, and is given a few ripe opportunities to riff off the rest of the cast.
Among the "lesser" members of his team, by far the most likeable presence is Ben Hardy's "Four," a young parkour-obsessed thief with a typically troubled past.
He's given several of the film's most memorable action beats and does an impressive job trying to make the film's overwrought "character development" work.
Considering how thoroughly he was wasted as Angel in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, this is a nice tentpole rebound for him.
