6 Weird Conversations Seth MacFarlane Must Have Had Making Ted 2

4. The One About Worf

Again, the Worf cameo (and what becomes of it) is another example of MacFarlane not knowing the right time for a joke to quit, or not caring, because he's managed to convince one of his idols to be in his film. The revelation that he€™s Guy€™s new boyfriend - replacing an equally silly, but still funny Ryan Reynolds cameo in the first film - is enough, but having him then dress up as Worf is some next level Inception style comedy. To be fair though, the silliness in this case actually works, but imagine having to pitch to the film€™s pay-masters that he needs forgotten Star Trek actor Michael Dorn to play an odd, super-macho homosexual version of himself who will turn up dressed as Worf at Comic Con. And then imagine broaching the subject with Dorn himself... It just proves that there€™s a lot of goodwill for MacFarlane, even after A Million Ways To Die In The West. And that€™s a good thing, given how funny the Comic Con sequence featuring Worf and Patrick Warburton€™s The Tic beating up nerds is.
