7 Acclaimed Recent Movies Everyone Will Turn On

7. A Quiet Place

The Acclaim: A ferociously tense alien invasion thriller with a nifty no-sound hook, A Quiet Place received uproarious praise for its writing, direction, performances and clever subversion of genre tropes.

Why Everyone Will Hate It: As the honeymoon period surrounding the film begins to wear off, more and more people are likely to start bemoaning some of the illogical character decisions that happen in the movie.

Primarily, why the hell did John Krasinski and Emily Blunt decide to get knocked up in the middle of an alien invasion?

Sure, some will argue that it's understandable in order to replace the child they lost (spoilers!), but honestly, it seems like an incredibly stupid thing for otherwise sensible people to do.

Maybe focus on protecting the kids you have left rather than bringing another life into the world when aliens are murdering anything that so much as breathes in their direction? Once flaws like this are in your head, it makes it far tougher to watch the movie without constantly thinking about them.
