The Simpsons has a long history of parodying actors. Who could forget the parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been portrayed both as an idiotic president and Rainier Wolfcastle, a bulky action movie star?

These days many movie stars actively want to voice the animated version of themselves on the show, lending the show certain level of authenticity.

Actor Frank Sivero, however, was not one who was pleased with the animated version of himself on the show. The Italian actor, who is know for his performances in both The Godfather Part 2 and Goodfellas, made clear that the character of Louie (part of the Springfield mafia) is an unfair use of his likeness.

He was so adamant in his belief that he sued the shows creators, although he lost the lawsuit.

Voice actor Dan Castellaneta refuted Sivero's claim, stating that he modelled the voice after Joe Pesci's character from Goodfellas, not his.
