The parody of Barbra Streisand in South Park is, typically, harsh. In the episode Mecha-Streisand, Streisand attempts to conquer the world by competing the ancient relic, the Diamond of Pantheos. If this premise wasn't enough to show just how brutal the portray of Streisand was, the episode goes on to portrays her as conceited and a raging megalomaniac. Yikes.

On top of this, the show mocks her singing voice as she uses it to torture the main characters. And, naturally, she transforms into a giant robot in the end and has to be battled to the death.

Streisand was certainly not impressed by the episode, but she expressed her complaints in a quaint manor. She accused the show of creating cynicism in young boys who watch the animation, and essentially accused the creators of sexism, pointing out how they go out of their way to tare down successful women.

If their repeated use of the Jennifer Lopez hand-puppet after the creators caught wind of her hating it has taught us anything, it's that South Park doesn't care if people complain about the show. They certainly didn't let Streisand's comments change the show in anyway.
