The Seven Awful Movies: Smother (2008), Morning Glory (2010), Darling Companion (2012), The Big Wedding (2013), And So It Goes (2014), 5 Flights Up (2015) and Love the Coopers (2015)

It's pretty much impossible to dislike Diane Keaton, though her recent glut of phoned-in movie performances has definitely made her fans question this fact. Despite starring in several great Woody Allen movies and being a staple of The Godfather trilogy, Keaton's not appeared in a good movie since 2003's Something's Gotta Give, and mostly defers to low-effort romantic comedies and dramas these days.

Plus, for some reason Keaton appears to have actively sought out parts that emphasise her shrillness, which feels a million miles away from the more charming work she put in decades ago. What a shame.
