7 Behind The Scenes Images That Ruined Your Childhood

7. Back to the Future: Part II

We're only a few years away from the future that Back to the Future: Part II predicted (It's in 2015, don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise), but there's probably a good reason why we don't have Marty's auto-adjusting and auto-drying jacket yet. Probably because it requires four or five people to operate it, which is exactly what's happening in the picture. The jacket was actually filled with wires, with each wire moving a part of the jacket. However, each person laying on the ground had to pull the strings with perfect timing for it to look authentic in the shot. This actually took nearly an entire day of filming. Great Scott! Fear not, though. You can actually purchase a replica of the jacket online these days. Obviously, none of the features are included but they still have two years to perfect it. Oh, and treat yourself to a Back to the Future: Part II viewing also. I know it's not as good as the first, but you owe it to those guys laying on the floor.
