Deadpool played a pretty important role in the X-Force comics, and seeing as they will be getting a screen adaptation relatively soon it is fair to assume that Deadpool will eventually be bought into this franchise. Weve already touched on this before, when discussing which universe the movie will exist in, but the lasting repercussions have the potential to be incredible. The movie would be released before X-Men: Apocalypse, so we would want to know whether Deadpool would feature in an X-Men film. Wade Wilson could pop up in an end credit scene, or in the background of a battle, but at the end of the day could Deadpool distract from the X-Men characters who have become key tenets of Foxs universe? In the comics Deadpool makes consistent efforts to be inducted into the X-Men before settling for X-Force, so could Apocalypse see Reynolds pestering the (probably) newly cast Cyclops and Storm characters before being given a role in a new film franchise? This is certainly thinking well into the future, but we are living in days when Marvel Studios has planned films up to nearly 2030, and it it likely that other studios will now be seeking to ensure they are not left behind. Did we miss any glaring questions? What would you like to know? Are you apprehensive or excited about the upcoming movie? Let us know in the comments section!
