Looking for something to do in the wake of his latest flick, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Guy Richie has signed on to helm the first film in a planned King Arthur cinematic universe over at Warner Bros., whose intention is to make a whopping six-movies as a sort of cross between Harry Potter and Game Of Thrones - which may or may sound horrific, depending on how much you like each of those things. Given that Robin Hood was already taken (nice one, Sony), the writers over at Warners were presumably forced to look into elsewhere for inspiration - this is what they came up with. The plan, then, is to start with Knights Of The Round Table, before reportedly sequeling, spinning off and prequeling in absolutely any direction, depending on where the studio want the story to go. And Guy Richie, what with his experience on blockbusters such as Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows, is apparently the man who will take King Arthur to box office glory. Apparently. Remember when they tried King Arthur with Clive Owen and Keira Knightley? Sucked, didn't it? Yeah. Do you actually want any of these cinematic universes? Of course not. But which is the worst sounding? Have your say down in the comments.
