7 Comic Book Movie Endings That Really Needed A Sequel

6. The Incredible Hulk

The very end of The Incredible Hulk didn't spawn a sequel, but it did help build the biggest cinematic universe we've ever seen. 10 years on, though, and the events of the movie itself seem largely forgotten about.

It took eight years for General Ross to turn up again, and we've heard almost nothing of Betty. Bruce Banner, meanwhile, is now played by Mark Ruffalo and, rather than the control he gained at the end of Incredible Hulk, is completely at odds with the Hulk side of his character.

There are a few reasons another movie hasn't happened, from rights issues to questions over whether Hulk can work as a standalone character, but it's still odd that so much of the character's past and his relationship with Betty has been totally left behind.
