7 DC Villains That Deserve Animated Films

2. Deathstroke

Deathstroke Slade Wilson, AKA Deathstroke The Terminator, is one of DC's most badass characters. He was created in 1980 and is ranked IGN's 32nd greatest comic book villain of all time. Primarily a villain to the Teen Titans, Deathstroke is a mercenary and assassin who, like Catwoman, often teams up with the heroes if there are mutual threats that need to be dealt with. He doesn't have any superpowers, though he does possess several enhanced abilities including the strength of ten men, as well as heightened speed, agility, and reflexes. He can use up to 90% of his brain power at once, making him a masterful tactician, and there's a healing factor in his blood that allows him to heal from wounds quickly (though it does have its limits, like the inability to grow a new right eye). We've seen several variations of Deathstroke over the years, and a number of depictions of him on screen, both on TV (Arrow, Smallville, Teen Titans)and in video games (Injustice, Batman Arkham Origins). He's a fan favorite character and even headlined his own comic for a time, so giving him his own feature film wouldn't be completely out of the cards or that hard to pull off. In fact, it would be awesome to see him get his turn in the limelight, and maybe if audiences responded well to it we'd finally get to see him in live-action.
