6. Injuring Will Smith (After Earth)
One of things about After Earth that critics almost unanimously agree on is that it was a stupid decision to injure Will Smiths character in After Earth, leaving his son Jayden to bear the brunt of the film instead. Yes, Will co-wrote it like that because he wants his son to be successful too, but perhaps he will work better with different material. This just wasnt it. It was also probably expected that audiences would all be running to the cinema because of the star power of Will Smith, but the crew must have overlooked the fact that we now all read reviews online before we spend our hard-earned money and so in reality barely anyone went at all.
