4. Johnny Depp
Out of all the actors on this list, Depp is honestly the most likely to work with the director. Around the time when
Django Unchained hit theaters, Tarantino revealed a
small list of actors he wants to work with, including Depp, Meryl Streep, and Michael Caine (a Tarantino-Caine collaboration has to happen). Depp has a ton of talent and has the ability to win an Oscar, but lately he has seemed content picking up paychecks in
Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, lackluster Tim Burton films, and continuing his weird Johnny Depp schtick in this summer's
The Lone Ranger. Depp could certainly use a career resurgence from an artistic perspective and working with Tarantino would be an ideal way to accomplish that. I could imagine Depp playing a gangster in a future Tarantino film; a return to the complex character drama of his
Donnie Brasco days. I'm sure most movie fans would be happy to see the hard-edged Depp return after years of watching Jack Sparrow over and over again.
