7 Golden Rules To Revive The Fantastic Four Franchise

7. Get To The Core Of The Family Dynamic

The whole idea behind the Fantastic Four is that they€™re a family in every sense of the word. There€™s siblings, spouses and even the familial ties of long-term friendship thrown into the mix and living under one roof. How the four of them deal with their new found abilities, responsibilities and roles within society is the real beating heart of the beginning of Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben€™s story. They bicker, they fight, they fall in love but most importantly they€™re there for each other, unlike the version that Fox put on screen with Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell, who acted as if they barely knew each other and had less chemistry than the cast of a school nativity. If the Fantastic Four is to succeed and flourish as either a standalone film or a franchise then it needs to reconnect with what makes the property unique in the first place and put the relationships between the team front and centre again.
