Look, we all know that Johnny Depp used to be a major teen idol before he went all serious and started selecting his roles based on how large of a hat he was able to wear during filming. But Depp has spent as much time as any sane person could trying to distance himself from that image, particularly from his work in television. So how in the hell did they get him to make a cameo in the film remake of 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum no less? Well, apparently Depp is not only so hunky that it literally hurts people to look at him for too long, but he's also a super nice dude, only agreeing to appear in the film if they also brought in Peter DeLuise, a mostly forgotten actor who played Depp's partner on the show.
