7 Marvel Romances That MCU Fans Don't Know About

1. Jubilee And Robin

Jessica Jones Ant Man
Marvel/DC comics

Okay, this definitely did happen and was part of the elaborate Marvel/DC crossover event back in 1996, where relatively evenly matched superheroes from the duelling titan franchises battled it out once and for all...

Amidst the fireworks, X-Men's sassy teenager Jubilee found herself up against the Boy Wonder, whist Batman and Captain America engaged in an evenly matched slobber-knocker that proved they were pretty much as tough as each other.

Jubilee and Robin's affection began with a kiss, which was partially orchestrated so that the two cunning cats could trick one-another into losing the fight. But from this blossomed some genuine affection. The two, for seemingly no apparent reason, found themselves transported to Venice, and true love took hold.

The only tragedy came when the epic stand-off between superheroes came to a close, and the two were forced to return to their respective franchises. This rendered Jubilee particularly upset, and caused her to wait with painful longing for the next crossover train to pull up, which it did in the form of the Age of Amalgam series. How sweet!
