7 Movies That Christian Bale Completely Changed His Body For

1. Irving Rosenfeld €“ American Hustle

And so we€™ve come to the present day, where immediately after capping off The Dark Knight Trilogy, Bale decides to take his ripped physique and transform it into a blob. Apparently he felt malnourishment was too easy and was in need of a new challenge; a challenging requiring him to pack some heavy pounds capable of repelling most ladies. The opening scene of American Hustle really paints the picture of Bale€™s overweight 40 pound ballooning. as it depicts Irving getting dressed with focus emphasized on his bloated and bulging stomach. He then fixes his dirty comb-over in hilariously meticulous fashion that needs to be seen to be believed, although that possibly could have been some outstanding makeup effects. The point is that I wouldn€™t put it past Bale to destroy his hair too. From sex symbol, to chiseled, to anorexic, to freaking Batman, to a fat ass con-man, there are no physical limitations for Christian Bale. I can safely predict that American Hustle won€™t be the end of Bale pushing his body in strange directions though, and I eagerly await more distinct personas. I would assume he€™s already dropped this weight too for his upcoming role as Moses. What do you think about Christian Bale's habit of fluctuating his weight for various movie roles? Comment below!
