7 Pixar Movies Better Than Toy Story 4

Toy Story 3 is a perfect trilogy-closer, and one that made you think for a split second that Pixar would actually kill-off Woody and co. in one of the most harrowing scenes in animation history. The very fact that audiences bought into the drama to such an extent that they believed and felt the peril of the protagonists is a testament to the talent and craftsmanship of the group of people who made it.

The third film to the one that started it all reminds us why Pixar, and in particular the characters in this story, are so important to everyone that grew up with them. It also feels like a natural progression of these characters’ journey in ways that Toy Story 4 never quite does.

Toy Story 3 however is more than just a harrowing conclusion; it is easily one of the funniest Pixar films to have ever been released, with numerous side-splitting scenes and moments such as Ken’s costume changes and Spanish Buzz Lightyear. Though Toy Story 4 has plenty of humorous scenes, none of them ever reach these heights.
