Suicide Squad, quite simply, looks insane. It doesn't even make sense. The fact that there's an upcoming movie built around such an innately crazy premise - with so many characters - boggles the mind. Basically, there has never been a film like it. And for that reason (coupled with the fact that it features the next cinematic version of the Joker), it has a clear lead over that of Batman V Superman - which, by comparison, looks kind of... well, old-fashioned? Maybe "old-fashioned" is the wrong word, or perhaps Dawn Of Justice looks like "old hat" - something that audiences have basically seen in one way or another before, give or take a few new characters and such. Suicide Squad, on the other hand, is weird... and it has the potential to be the downright strangest blockbuster ever. Looking at the YouTube views for Suicide Squad and Batman V Superman's trailers, it's plain to see that audiences are looking for something different - something edgy that doesn't spell out everything out. Having currently racked up an extra 5 million views more than the Batman V Superman trailer, it's clear to see which movie audiences across the globe are more excited for. Dawn of Justice looks like a blockbuster; Suicide Squad looks like something graffitied on a wall. Like this article? Agree or disagree with our take on these movies?
