7 Reasons Why Bane Wasn't All That Bad

While The Joker revelled in trickery and deception - chiefly when in The Dark Knight he deliberately gave Batman the opposite locations for Harvey Dent and Rachel as he knew which one Batman would choose - Bane is basically always up-front about what he is planning to do, even early on telling one of his fumbling henchmen that he is going to kill him in a brief moment. Similarly, he has no qualms about explaining to Bruce precisely what is going to happen to him; he is going to see Gotham razed and only then will he die. Similarly, the bomb scenario is broadcast in plain terms for all to hear; he isn't steeped in the same smoke and mirrors as The Joker, but rather, his plan often hinges on the opposite, on exposing the truths that Gotham's officials have covered up.
