5. Samuel L. Jackson Just Wanted To Star In A Movie Titled 'Snakes On A Plane'
Everyone loves Samuel L. Jackson its just a scientific fact. Id ask you if you like him, but by virtue of your presence on Whatculture youre fully aware of the man and how awesome he is. He forever changed the appearance of Nick Fury and got away with it, and he owns the greatest biblical rant in Hollywood. The man doesnt need to do anything else, yet he clearly loves what he does and wants to do more. Case in point, Snakes On A Plane. The only reason Jackson took this role was because he just wanted to be in a film called Snakes On A Plane, owing to his background as a massive fan of B-movie schlock, which also explains why he and Tarantino work together so often. What makes this more ridiculous is that he even forced the producers to keep the title when they thought the title was silly, and managed to keep a majority of the script when they attempted to make it sensible, all because he thought it would be fun. So next time you boot up that film (and you should, many times and often) give thanks to Samuel L. Jackson. If he wasnt so dementedly passionate about B-movies and idiocy you never would have heard him utter those immortal lines.
