7 Sport Stars Who Tried To Break Hollywood

1. O.J. Simpson

Space Jam Bugs Bunny
Paramount Pictures

You might have heard of this guy, O.J. Simpson aka The Juice aka The Defendant. He was a wildly successful running back in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. Then O.J. turned his hand to acting, popping up in The Towering Inferno and the still-pretty-funny-today series of Naked Gun films.

Then he turned his hand to appearing on news channels 24/7 in the most famous murder trial in history, when he was accused of murdering his estranged wife and her new boyfriend.

Then he turned his hand to trying on a glove, which didn't fit, so he was acquit.

Then he turned his hand to armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas. Which culminated in his current turn of hands, which is a spell of 33 years in Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.

O.J., can we suggest that next time you turn your hand to something, it's something that's a bit boring and mundane, yeah? Just sayin'.
