7 Things We Want To See In The Future Deadpool Sequels

7. His Rivalry With Wolverine

Hugh Jackman might have been making noises recently about hanging up his claws for good after the next solo Wolverine film, but it would surely be a travesty if he was to do so without having at least a quick scrap with Deadpool. There€™s plenty of history between the characters, especially as they€™re both Canadian subjects of the infamous Weapon X project. In the comics, Wolverine usually sees Deadpool as an irritating punching bag, albeit an irritating punching bag that has his uses from time to time. If the filmmakers could somehow convince Jackman to return for one last time it would be an amazing coup but it would be surprising if he was willing to say goodbye to the character in an R-Rated curio. Instead a Deadpool sequel could be the perfect chance to test the waters and recast the character with a younger actor before the main films get around to it. Introducing a new Wolverine away from the main X-Men universe might be a hard pill for some to swallow, but it would give the studio a chance to trial a new actor without quite so much pressure.
