4. Deadpool 2 Mocks The Character's Creators

Deadpool 2 is a love-letter to nineties X-Men, and a damn fine comic book film in its own right. It's also very, very funny, and with nothing off limits, it was always going to be the case that the Merc with a Mouth would take aim at his own creators - Fabian Nicezia and Rob Liefeld.
Continuing with the back and forth that saw Domino join X-Force, Wade - refusing to concede that her lucky superpowers are indeed such - berates the character as the creation of a "freakshow artist" and "a guy who can't draw feet".
Fans of nineties X-Men and of Liefeld will immediately know who the merc' is referring to. Liefeld was a controversial albeit influential artist during that decade, obsessed with pouches and encumbered by a supposed inability to draw feet. It's a fitting joke, and yet another blink and you miss it reference from a film that is far too clever for its own good.
