All of the trailers for Zack Snyder's DC Comics team-up are packed with footage which never materialised in the final cut. Some of these scenes are inconsequential, like Cyborg wearing a robotic mask and Aquaman killing a couple of extra Parademons, but others seemed like a bigger deal at the time.

For instance, the sequence featuring Jeremy Irons's Alfred and a mysterious stranger duped viewers into thinking it was the movie's big Superman revealed. It even inspired dozens of alternative fans theories concerning the unseen character's identity, only for the scene itself to end up on the cutting room floor.
