7 'Unadaptable' Comic Book Storylines (That Are Already Becoming Movies)

2. Daredevil: Born Again

When Wilson Fisk vowed to crush the offices of Nelson & Murdock close to the end of Daredevil's second season, fans were pretty clued up on what would be coming next. And, y'know, it's not pretty.

The storyline in question is called Born Again, commonly regarded as being among the very best tales to have featured the devil of Hell's Kitchen, and it's very clearly being set up to dominate the character's third season of television. While that would, yes, be awesome in a wide variety of ways, there are certain elements of the comic book that just simply cannot make their way to live action.

The premise of the book - and the skeleton behind it too - are more than what's required to craft a convincing (and morose) Daredevil tale. Any beat for beat adaptation, however, would be a fruitless endeavour, especially since we're probably never, ever going to see The Avengers link up with Daredevil despite them both existing in the same universe.
