1. Deckard's Role Isn't What You Think - Blade Runner 2049
The beautiful teaser trailer for the long-awaited Blade Runner sequel shows new Blade Runner K (Ryan Gosling) coming across Deckard (Harrison Ford).
The obvious implication from this meeting is that the film will feature Deckard in a large role and unravel what happened to him over the last three decades, namely put to rest whether or not he is, in fact, a replicant.
However, it's already been confirmed that the movie shot for many months without Ford, so he may end up having an extended cameo rather than a late-day supporting role.
Also, the film is under no obligation to tell us either way about Deckard's real identity, and don't put it past a director as daring as Denis Villeneuve to shift the conversation in an entirely different direction.
Perhaps the mystery is ultimately more tantalising than any possible reveal could be, even if fans are no doubt expecting to get a concrete answer and for Ford to have a sizeable role.
