7 Ways Deadpool 2 Sets Up Future Sequels

Is death really death when there's a time travel device at Deadpool's disposal? We've seen him hop between various timelines killing, resurrecting, and generally f*cking with people as he so chooses, in a similar vein to Marvel's own Doctor Strange. Whilst it's not entirely clear whether he will keep this power when it comes time for his next screen appearance, a film where Deadpool is effectively a time wizard opens up a hilarious world of parody.

It also means that he could go back in time and reverse his burned appearance, something that fuelled his actions throughout the entirety of the first movie. It's unlikely now he's come to terms with himself and gotten back to a place where he can be happy with Vanessa, but still an option that could be explored if only for the sake of Ryan Reynolds whinging about the painstaking make up process. What a princess.

There's endless opportunities afforded to such a device - perhaps it can be used to bring Wolverine in, if only for a short cameo, or perhaps it'll be important to scoping out X Force initiates from over the years. In reality, chances are Wilson will have done something stupid with it and have it broken at the opening of the next film - the mess left behind by the timeline nonsense of Deadpool 2 might just be too much to deal with in too much detail.
