8. Val Kilmer 'Got Physical' With Joel Schumacher On Batman Forever
Though Joel Schumacher has said that he considers Val Kilmer "the best Batman", there was no shortage of animosity between the two on the set of Batman Forever, Schumacher's first shot at Batman (before he paved the way for a reboot with Batman & Robin) and Kilmer's one and only turn as the Caped Crusader. Why one and only? Well, because Kilmer was released from his contract after filming ended, leaving the space open for George Clooney, due to his awkward behaviour and his apparently getting physical with Schumacher. Though reports of Kilmer's confrontation with Schumacher on-set still linger over the pair's working relationship, Schumacher has since gone on to say that Kilmer "looked great in the costume" and that he brought "depth" to the role. Will he be working with him again, then? "Val is the most psychologically troubled human being Ive ever worked with". No then.
