8 Actors Who Have Only Made One Good Movie
3. David Spade - The Emperor's New Groove
Though David Spade's single acclaimed movie may be an animated film, it makes the cut because he not only has the lead role, but his performance as douchebag emperor Kuzco is actually pretty damn beloved and iconic.
Acknowledging his cameo in the acclaimed 1992 movie Light Sleeper - where he's credited as "Theological Cokehead" - The Emperor's New Groove is Spade's single starring feature embraced by critics.
He's spent the better part of three decades starring in the atrocious likes of Coneheads, Joe Dirt, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Grown Ups and most recently the direct-to-Netflix dud Father of the Year, which holds 0% on the Tomatometer.
Much like Kevin James, there's most probably no redemption for Spade, especially with a sequel to The Emperor's New Groove, 2005's straight-to-video Kronk's New Groove, already falling flat with critics.
