7. Tilda Swinton (Suspiria)
Tilda Swinton will play at least two roles in Luca Guadagnino's remake of Dario Argento's legendary horror masterpiece.
However, the director and his cast are refusing to acknowledge that one of Swinton's roles sees her appear under heavy make-up in order to resemble an old psychiatrist, Dr Jozef Klemperer.
Hilariously, the part is credited to fictional 82-year-old German man "Lutz Ebersdorf", to the extent that he even has his own IMDB page, and Swinton even read a statement from "him" at the film's Venice Film Festival press conference.
Considering that Swinton's recognisable vocal tenor is clear from trailer footage featuring Klemperer, though, and she was spotted in old man make-up on the movie's set, the jig is basically up. It should sure as hell merit a Best Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar nomination, though.
This is far from the first or even the seventh time Swinton has undergone an epic makeup transformation, and it sure won't be the last either.
