This one's a bit different, because technically those on the receiving end of Clark Gregg's verbal wrath in this situation are actually not Agents Of SHIELD fans, but the ones who gave up on it. Not that Gregg should have really risked attracting negative attention from Marvel fans, or tried to scare anyone off thinking about ditching his series by calling them "losers".

Gregg wasn't the only one put out by 'proper' Marvel fans leaving the show behind. Gregg's co-star Ming-Na Wen echoed his concerns when she told a reporter, "all we want is our fans to just be patient and not come down hard", after being asked if "geekier" fans had a point in abandoning the show because there weren't enough superheroes in it.

When the question was put to Gregg, the response was unequivocal: "Those aren't geeks. Those are losers." It's yet to be confirmed if Marvel Studios plan to follow suit and attempt to shame their audience numbers up by calling any current non-Marvel fans "nobodies".
