4. Jason Momoa - Aquaman (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice)
There has been an unbelievable amount of negative word about the casting for Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel. Ben Affleck as Batman almost broke the internet, while Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor has spawned an ridiculous amount of Mark Zuckerberg jokes. That so much hate has been levelled on two actors who have proven themselves in recent years and appear to fit the new take on the characters is strange, particularly when Batman V Superman has made plenty more casting faux pas. There's lots to choose from, but likely the most destructive is Jason Momoa as Aquaman. On a base level including the King of Atlantis in the movie already comes across a little too much. He's a key member of the Justice League, sure, but at what point does setting up later movies detract from the real reason people are watching the film at hand - Batman fighting Superman? On top of being shoe-horned superfluousness, the direction Snyder is going with the character seems to make Man Of Steel's copious mythology-meddling seem tame. Aquaman has become one of the most ridiculed superheroes in recent years, his location-specific powers lampooned by everyone with a sense of humour. So, in an attempt to make him badass, Khal Drogo himself has been brought in, and, even if Momoa delivers a fine performance, it's all going to be very distracting.
