8 Actors Who Will Ruin Upcoming Films

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are by no means bad actors, far from it, but as a couple they almost singlehandedly ruined Jurassic World, which is why the fans should be worried about their presence in the sequel.

In the runup to the movie's release, director Colin Trevorrow was forced to defend it from sexism claims based on the stereotypical exchanges the two lead characters shared in the trailers, a situation that didn't improve when Avengers director Joss Whedon added his voice to the opposition.

In fairness to Pratt and Howard, their characters are deconstructed during the events of the movie and come out the other side more credible... or at least Pratt's Owen Grady does. Howard's Claire Dearing is still wearing her high heels in the final act, even when she's fleeing from a T-Rex.

Although the sexism claims don't really hold water when viewed in context, that doesn't mean Owen and Claire are any more interesting as a couple than they are individually. In fact, they're worse, a cliche on-screen pairing who share trite dialogue and nothing more.

Unless plenty of character development has occurred between then and the beginning of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon, these two could be the death of the 2018 sequel.
