5. Idris Elba & Dominic West - Finding Dory
Finding Dory's happening. Like the rest of Pixar's sequel output, it's best to just accept it and hope they don't end up butchering the legacy of one of their classics. The film, as the title suggests, will focus on Ellen DeGeneres blue tang (because she's popular with kids), who, according to the synopsis, will be looking for her family. So get ready for lots of jokes about how she doesn't remember them that will, post-Still Alice, feel a little bit insensitive. No matter what the film as a whole winds up being, you can bank on two things; it'll look great and the voice cast will be top notch (this is still Pixar). Most of the actors from the original are returning, whether it makes sense or not (the tank gang are back) and there's some interesting newcomers too; Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy are playing Dory's parents, although the most interesting casting is Idris Elba and Dominic West in currently unconfirmed roles. Seen together in The Wire (and separately in a lot more than you'd expect), Elba and West have been recording lines concurrently, meaning this is the closest you'll ever see to a "reunion". Who They Could Be Playing? Not a clue. Pixar have a knack for both casting with and against type, so while it'd seem obvious the pair will be Stringer Bell and McNulty riffs, there's probably (read: hopefully) something more to it than that.
