3. Superman (Man Of Steel)
After years of costumes that essentially made Superman look like he was about to get in to bed, this year's Man of Steel movie finally got the Superman outfit right. Although it had questionably altered origins in the movie (it was inside a buried Kryptonian ship under Earth's suraface that had been there for 20,000 years and just so happened to fit Clark Kent perfectly), the fact is it looked incredibly cool. The costume was more rubber/latex in nature than the vile cloth versions seen before it and the fact that it moulded to Clark's muscular torso gave Superman a more intimidating appearance than usual. It also (finally!) excluded the 'underpants on the outside' look, which has haunted Superman fans for years.
